Robby Wells was born to lead. He is a 2024 Presidential Candidate.
Mr. Wells has recently been named an Ambassador and Spokesperson for The International Human Rights Peace Commission.
He is a former Educator and collegiate football coach.
He was the head football coach at the NCAA Division - I School, Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
Mr. Wells earned his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science at Furman University where he played college football.
He was a member of the 1988 NCAA Division I-AA National Championship team at Furman University.
Robby Wells coached football from 1990–2010.
He began his career as an educator and assistant coach at Greer High School from 1990–1994. In 1994 his team went undefeated winning the state championship. He went on to serve as the head coach at C.E. Murray High School in Greeleyville, SC from 1995–1996. As the CEO of an organiztion of over 100 people, his teams went deep into the state playoffs and were ranked in the top ten in the state of South Carolina each year that he coached at the school.
He moved to the University of South Carolina as a graduate assistant coach for four seasons from 1997-2000 where he earned his MEd in Adult Education with an emphasis on Education Leadership.
Wells worked with the defensive backs and middle linebackers and was a part of the greatest turnaround in NCAA Football History during the 2000 football season.
During his time at the University of South Carolina, Robby Wells saved a drowning victim's life on Father's Day of 1998 by performing CPR on a lady that had slipped beneath the water on Lake Marion in Santee, SC due to an epileptic seizure.
The story had a happy ending thanks to the swift response of Mr.Wells.
Robby Wells moved on to become the defensive coordinator at South Carolina State University in 2002. As the Bulldog's defensive coordinator from 2002–2005, Wells' defense attained numerous national rankings and a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship in 2004.
In 2006, Wells was hired as the General Manager for the Augusta Spartans Arena Football Team where his duties included coaching, player personnel decisions, player development, team travel, fund raising and media relations.
In April of 2006 during the middle of the Wars in Afghanstan and Iraq, Robby Wells joined the Army National Guard. During the summer of 2006 while he was training in Fort Sill, OK, Mr. Wells played a vital role in saving the lives of sixty soldiers when a rogue trainee began stabbing soldiers in the night while they were trying to sleep. Specialist Wells along with other members of his platoon acted quickly and appropriately to care for the wounded and to subdue the rogue trainee ensuring that everyone survived the attack.
Wells went on to become the defensive coordinator and football marketing director for one season at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina in 2007.
Wells was hired as the head football coach on December 22, 2007 at Savannah State University, an HBCU. In his first season as the CEO of the team, they saw as many victories as the previous four seasons combined. He is the most successful head football coach that Savannah State has had in the past two decades.
Robby Wells officially retired from coaching and began his political career on November 21, 2011. On that day Wells announced his candidacy for President of the United States in the 2012 general election where he gained valuable debate experience for his future presidential campaigns.
On September 24, 2013, Wells announced that he would seek the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party in the 2016 General Election, but was blocked from the primary debates. The consensus was that he was blocked out of fear of his debate skills.
On March 1, 2017 Robby Wells was appointed the United States Ambassador and International Spokesperson for the International Human Rights Peace Commission. Mr. Wells has traveled through Europe and Asia promoting his Rise Up Movement that promotes World Peace. Recently Mr. Wells was awarded two honorary doctorate degrees from Good News International University and St. Andrew's Theological University. This occurred when Mr. Wells was the keynote speaker at the United Nations International Human Rights Event in Chennai, India.
With a wide open Democratic field, On May 12, 2018 Mr. Wells announced in front of 40,000 people in Atlanta, GA that he will run for President in 2020 to bring the people of the United States together.
Mr. Wells' platform is called "Eaglenomics," taking the best ideas from the Left Wing and the Right Wing to restore Prosperity to the United States and to allow every citizen a chance at the American Dream. Mr. Wells believes that the world needs the United States and that the United States needs the world. He is determined to push for World Peace and a tremendous world economy by making the economy of the United States the strongest it has ever been.
